Co-Mo Connect Lineman Scholarship
THE CO-MO LINEMAN SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PERIOD IS NOW OPEN!
The Co-Mo Connect Lineman Scholarship is an opportunity for local high school seniors who might be interested in attending electric line school through the Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) program at State Tech in Linn, MO, or Ozarks Technical in Lebanon, MO. This scholarship is only available to students interested in the EDS program.
Eligible students must live within Co-Mo’s service territory to be considered, attend OTC or State Technical College, and eventually be accepted into the EDS program. Even if the student resides in a town where Co-Mo is not their electric service provider, they are still eligible to apply. For example, Co-Mo Connect does not electrically serve the town of Versailles, but a student living in the city limits would still be eligible for the scholarship because Co-Mo provides electric service around the entire town. Here is a link to our service map to help visualize our service territory/area boundaries.
The application period for this scholarship is NOW OPEN. Please use the links below to fill out the appropriate paperwork and return it to Co-Mo before April 18, 2025.

Golf is a sport that offers numerous benefits, including friendly competition, the beauty of the greens and fairway landscapes, healthy exercise, and the satisfaction achieved from a well-placed shot. With so many things to enjoy, adding a way to give back to the community is just icing on the cake. By playing in the Mark Imhoff Memorial Lineman Scholarship Golf Tournament, golfers are supporting local students in their pursuit of becoming line workers.
Each year, funds from Co-Mo’s golf tournament go to the Co-Mo Connect Lineman Scholarship, which is an opportunity for local high school seniors who are interested in attending electric line school through the Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) program at State Tech in Linn, MO, or Ozarks Technical in Lebanon, MO.
Students are selected for the scholarship by submitting an application that includes information on their personal goals, work history, character references, and even a two-page essay on why they want to become line workers. The applications then go to our scholarship committee, which will choose the recipient for that year.
This year, we are honored to announce that Jack Moon of Tipton and Trace Murdock of Versailles have been awarded this scholarship and will be attending State Technical College in Linn this fall.
We offer at least one scholarship to a deserving individual each year. If you know a high school senior interested in becoming a line worker, have them fill out an application on our website!
